Building inspectors

There are several professions that require scaffolding – both for the sake of working in hard-to-reach places and for the safety of oneself and of pedestrians on the street.
Building inspections consist in checking the safety of a given structure. No wonder you need scaffolding for this. This work cannot be done lightly. Scaffolding is needed when inspecting a building because in many cases different types of infrastructure parts that may be located at different heights are inspected.

What are the types of scaffolding?

As already mentioned – there are many types of scaffolding. First of all, we are talking about wooden, steel, aluminum and fiberglass scaffoldings – and these scaffoldings are divided primarily into two groups; mobile and facade. It is easy to tell them apart, as mobile scaffolds have wheels and can be ridden, while facade scaffolding is attached to the facade of the building being constructed or maintained.

Mobile scaffolding

This type of scaffolding is good for smaller and lower buildings – because its height is limited due to mobility. Mostly, this type of scaffolding is used for work inside the built rooms. A great advantage is also the fact that such scaffolding is characterized by a light structure, easy and, above all, quick assembly, as well as considerable stability. They are perfect where you need to change positions frequently – because they can be mobile. Nevertheless, if necessary, they can also be immobilized so that you can calmly carry out your work.

Facade scaffolding

Such scaffolding can be much higher, which makes it better for the construction of taller buildings. It is worth knowing that such scaffolding should be anchored to the walls of the building to increase its rigidity and static. Moreover, such scaffolding is often confirmed by special certificates – which are granted by research and inspection institutions. Thanks to this, you can be sure about the safety of their use. It is also worth mentioning that the entire structure is rigid – which allows for quick assembly and disassembly.

Better buy or rent?

Everything, of course, depends on many factors – without scaffolding it is impossible to carry out work at heights, they are necessary. For obvious reasons, primarily because they are smaller, mobile scaffolding is cheaper than facade scaffolding. Of course, it is worth being aware that a lot also depends on the selected model – less advanced scaffolding is cheaper than more advanced scaffolding. When it comes to rental – prices start from as much as PLN 60 per day for mobile scaffolding, while facade scaffolding is calculated on the amount of rented m2.
